Common Worlds Research Collective
How might common worlding pedagogies foster new ways of learning and living on our damaged earth?
Common worlding pedagogies refuse to separate us humans off from our fellow earthlings. Instead of thinking about the world ‘out there’ as something we are learning about from a distance, these pedagogies seek grounded, collaborative, interconnected and relational modes of learning and living with other earthlings. In the process, they embark upon the collective task of repairing damaged worlds.
We can all be commoners and get on with the job of common worlding. Hop off the human pedestal. Check out what our fellow earthlings are doing, always in concert with each other. Learn from their mutually sustaining relations. Recognise that we don’t and can’t live outside of such relations either.
Join forces with our fellow earthlings. Take part in recuperating our common worlds together.
