Climate disruption, loss of biodiversity, overuse of earth’s resources, and ecological collapse threaten all life on earth. But there is much we can do to turn it around and address the root causes of the climate crisis. Education is an important part of the solution. Will you help us design a deck of flashcards that show how climate and ecological justice can be achieved?

“Turn it Around! Flashcards for Education Futures” is a continuing project by youth to build a radical curriculum for educators, policymakers, and politicians.

Your submission of original artwork and/or writing will help to envision an education for a just transition to a more sustainable world. Your artwork and/or written response to the prompts will be included in this online repository of flashcards, to be used in workshops, classrooms, and decision making spaces around the world.

Artwork submitted must be a JPEG, and should be at least 2800 x 3500 pixels (portrait orientation), 300 DPI.

Writing: Submit a short text (150 words max) in English, French, or Spanish – that responds to ANY ONE of the following prompts! (Or write your own short text that describes a vision for the future of education). Your response will help teach today’s decision-makers some basic lessons about building a just future – make yourself heard!
